This course is designed to provide the learner greater knowledge in how macronutrients are used during physical activity. Specifically, the role and metabolism of carbohydrates, fat and protein during aerobic and anaerobic activity will be covered. Intermediate level.

  • Discuss fluid and electrolyte requirements during rest, exercise and recovery.
