Course Objectives/Learning Outcomes:
- Describe the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and components of the virus that would make good vaccine targets.
- Differentiate different types of vaccines in use, or projected to be in use, for prevention of Covid-19 disease.
- Explain what may be done with vaccines to compensate for emergence of new strains of SARS-CoV-2.
- Summarize adverse effects of these vaccines.
- Recognize the possibility of long-term immunity from the vaccines, and whether this is desirable, or unnecessary.
- List Adverse effects of these vaccines.
