Price: $30 (or Free with Membership)

Course Description:

  • This course is designed to provide the participant with a more in-depth discussion of functional relationships in order to vary and advance exercise progression beyond basic therapeutic exercise. The course will define and discuss various components of function as it applies to rehabilitation, take a fresh look a movement, present the four pillars of human movement, discuss training in the context and the role of gravity ground reaction forces and momentum for true functional movement and exercise. This course will review and discuss the functional biomechanics and anatomy of the lower extremity plane by plane and joint by joint to provide the participant with a greater understanding of not just treating symptoms but finding causes and developing exercise in a functional multi-planar approach. Whether you work with young, older or athletic patients the information in this course will greatly enhance and expand your understanding of function and exercise progression and bring new and exciting ideas to your care.
