Course Objectives:

  • Identify laboratory tests and findings for diagnosing polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis.
  • Explain the evidence based protocol for the treatment of polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis.
  • List the benefits of exercise therapy in the treatment of polymyalgia.
  • Describe the role of diet in reducing inflammation and autoimmune disease.
