Course Objectives:
- Identify laboratory tests and findings for diagnosing polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis.
- Explain the evidence based protocol for the treatment of polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis.
- List the benefits of exercise therapy in the treatment of polymyalgia.
- Describe the role of diet in reducing inflammation and autoimmune disease.
Learning Outcome: At least 80% of class participants will score 70% or greater on course post-test.
