Course Objectives
- Identify environmental toxins that are in non-organic produce and their common health effects (e.g. pesticide residues).
- Compare high fructose corn syrup to other available sweeteners on how they effect the hormones that regulate appetite.
- Identify common zenoestrogens in our environment and food supply and their potential health concerns.
- Interpret current research concerning hormones in our food supply and the potential adverse health effects.
