Course Description

  • Carbohydrate consumption is a key regulator in glucose and insulin metabolism and effects key lipid values important in the management of risk for cardiovascular disease. This course covers the metabolic effects of carbohydrates and how to best manage glucose and lipid levels for reducing the risk of diabetes and heart disease. Education level: Beginner to Intermediate.
