Course Objectives

  • Discuss how dietary macronutrient intake and composition can affect cognition.
  • Review the mechanisms by which select vitamins/minerals that have been shown to have beneficial effect in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (n/a pharmacy techs). 
  • Review the mechanisms of action of potential neurotoxins.
