Course Objectives:

  • Identify the incidence of asthma, allergies and eczema in the population.
  • Evaluate the psychosocial effects of asthma, allergies and eczema in patients.
  • Describe physiologic and immunologic commonalities and differences among the three conditions.
  • List currently available treatments for asthma, allergies and eczema based on evidence-based medicine.
  • Explain the pharmacology of drugs used in treating asthma, allergies and eczema.
